Hi birders et al. I've had a question about the toxicity of chlorinated water to birds - in particular Australian Pelicans, which appear to be drinking it at a particular location. This is not a "job", so I have limited time to give it, and almost no experience to bring to bear. The dosage is apparently circa 1mg/litre. Does anyone have "toxicity of chlorine to birds" info at their fingertips that they could pass on? ... or any speculation on the matter (educated guesses based on physiology, etc.)? TIA Lawrie
