Hi Kurtis,
I'm glad your curious because I'm dumbfounded. The yellow chat was my
initial thought due to shape, size and flight, but when I checked my field
guides, it would seem impossible. I'm familiar with the Golden Whistler and
this bird definitely had a yellow chin/throat. It was a brilliant yellow
but not orange.
Next time I'm there, I will be prepared with a bins and a camera. Hopefully
a Jpeg sent to birding-aus will solve my mystery.
Until then, here's hoping I get another chance !!?!!
Kind Regards,
