Last week, following some small amount of rain, I was driving to the local shopping centre (St Clair, western Sydney) when I noticed a Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo calmly drinking from a pothole on the edge of the paved area of the street, ignoring the cars passing closer than a metre away. In 4 years in this area, I have only seen two YTBCs.
