Hi all,
I live in Pheasant Creek about 55kms north of Melb in valley schlerophyll
forest eg.- mountain grey gum, peppermint box, blackwood etc, 500 metres above
sea level.
Last Saturday morn produced a few unusual species for my block, (possibly
stopping en route for migration). A pair of Crested Shrike-Tit, a small group
of Varied Sittella and a few female Flame Robins.
I have lived here for near on two years and all three species are a new,
if albeit temporary addition to my house birdlist!.
Any comments?
Cheers,
Mark Kliene.
