I too am now seeing Flame Robins in reasonable numbers, seemed to arrive a bit later than normal.Last year they shared our property with a lone male Red-capped Robin. He started to hang out with them as the winter progressed, feeding along fencelines in very open country, and then after a 14 month stay here he left in late August(at the same time as the Flames left!)I wonder which way he went?
This year our winter visitors are sharing the plot with a male Scarlet! So far I've seen nothing but aggro between them.
