Keith Brandwood said " there were two ...[Pectoral Sandpipers flagged in Oz].. one in 1997 the other Feb 2002. It seems quiet amazing that the one I recorded here in the Hawkesbury was the one flagged in 2002 what were the chances of that I wonder." If that was the only surviving flagged PS the chances of an Oz-flagged PS being that PS are 100%. Of course the other may have survived so let's say 50%. About as "amazing" as a spun coin turning up head or tails rather than on its edge.
