Hi All,
I'll be doing a 'flying' visit to the western district in the next =
few weeks, but hope to be able to organise a few hours over the 2 days =
to catch up on some birding.
Being based in Edenhope overnight, I entered this into the archive =
and Jilpanger Scrub/SOUTHERN SCRUB-ROBIN attracted my attention as did =
Arapiles-Tooan Park. Has anyone current info regarding this species in =
either of these parks?
As Jilpanger Reserve is not mentioned on any maps, the closest =
reference I can find is north west of Douglas (Steve Clark 'Aug '02) =
putting it somewhere between Douglas and Wombelano.
Any further info/birdlist/GPS readings plus suggestions as to =
which Park to search for the SS-R (considering the limited time =
available) would be appreciated.
Incidentally, I found the thread re the overlap of Superb/ =
Variegated Fairy-wrens and Southern Emu-wrens('98) very informative.
Thanks and happy birding
Marlene
