I must make a correction on the type of Eucalypt
the Swift Parrots were feeding on in Snowy Reserve below. It was actually Grey
Box (Eucalyptus Moluccana) not The Broad-leaved Ironbark (E.fibrosa) below. I
heard them calling again later yesterday but was not home for a great part of
today but will advise when I hear them again.
I have also noticed alot of Mugga Ironabrks and
other Eucalyptus species currently in good flower within other parts of my
local area in the Blacktown shire. When I get the chance I may check
out these as well.
