Hi all,

After mowing the lawns for two hours on my day off work i decided to go bird watching at local park and at a large billabong near my home in Carrara on the Gold Coast. Highlights were a pair of Black Swans, the usual flock of Magpie geese, 2 Comb-crested Jacanas, royal spoonbill, Eastern Spinebill. In the following is the list of species i observed. Finished it all of with a nice pushbike ride home and chinese for lunch.

Australian Pelican

Comb-crested Jacana

Australian Magpie

Indian Myna
Little Black Cormorant
