G'day Chris Ross and All,

I know exactly how Chris feels about seeing these most majestic of Oz wild birds and happy for him at seeing what he did. But hope I don't upset him when I say a flock of Black Swan was sighted on Thursday 10th., April 2003 in Western Port bay close Hastings, estimated numbers were one thousand.

Later the same day as I walked along the track/boardwalk twix Hastings and Crib Point, I truly had a "Hairy Poppins" event ... 14 Silvereye decided to buzz me as I walked about a mile down the track from Hastings. Not only did one buzz me but it landed on my head. It's BIG so hard not to miss eh :^D>>> always the way when your out and not carrying a camera eh.

Pelicans seemed to follow me for a while as I left Hastings.

Weather wise today I'm saying a single word to Noah except someone must have stayed up late last night polishing and shining all the roads?

Dear fellow Ozzies, why oh why do we waste so much of this precious stuff by allowing it to flow directly out to a bay somewhere? it's lunacy.

JAG waddles orf to line up his guns at a certain power company that victimises an organic food producer. Whatever happened to the due process of consultation.
