Dear All

Recent sightings from Ruffey Lake have been exciting, considering the number of people and dogs that frequent the Park.  Since New Year there has been Freckled Duck (1-4/1), Baillon's Crake, Rufous Night Heron, Latham's Snipe, and most recently Buff-banded Rail over the last week or so.

There have been up to 30 Long-billed Corellas as well as Aust Hobby and Black-shouldered Kite.

Can anyone who has visited the Park to birdwatch, please send me their lists, no matter how old, as I am compiling a list for myself, at this stage.  I believe there is an old printed list for the Park, but I am not sure of the details.

Thanks

John Harris
