Hello all, There must have been a blue moon recently or maybe the drought. Two (a pair) of Glossy Black Cockatoos flew in to investigate an Alocasuarina sp.in the reserve adjoining my backyard on Friday, 31sr January, 03, Unfortunately they were spotted by the local feathered "Mafia" and eventually flew off, escorted by a shrieking gang of eight Noisy Miners, in the direction of Gordon , a Sydney suburb, to the south of St Ives where I live .Today Sunday, 2nd Feb., a flock of abt. 30 Yellowtail Black Cockatoos passed overhead towards the north, someone at the Bureau of Meteorology must have seen them because they are predicting showers for Sydney .
