Can a South Australian please inform me where Penola is?

Penola is in the south-east of the state just up the border a bit from Mt. Gambier.

Are there normally Regents at Chiltern ? A dumb question perhaps. I was there about 3 weeks ago after travelling a week or two in the high country . It was dry as. It must be a great place to visit late winter/early spring for birds. The best birds for me in the high country were the Gang-Gangs at Davies Hut and the Yellow-tufted Honeyeaters on the river at Eaglevale , also the male Flame robin at Charlies Creek Hut. At Eaglevale there was a Superb Blue Fairy-wren feeding a recently fledged Horsefield's Bronze Cuckoo, quite a size difference.

Cheers,
Peter.
