Hi Brian, To put your mind at ease. The NSW WSG carried out its monthly wader count at Botany Bay. We found 30+ Grey-tailed Tattlers on the rocks you mentioned and have close up photographs of most of them. The photos show the variations in plumage of the Grey-tailed but no Wanderers - sorry. However we did see a Japanese flagged Grey-tailed Tattler (blue leg flag on the left tibia). To see more join the CBOC field outing and wader talk on 2 February. Phil |
