Hi Everyone,
Went to Herdsman Lake in metro Perth on 8 January 2003 with a view to seeing the large flock of Freckled Ducks that are in attendance. Was not disappointed and counted 130 ducks, including some males with the reddish base to the bill. They are located in Maurice Hamer Park that is at the western end of the lake, almost opposite the carpark. Well worth a look at should you be in Perth.
