Droopy at Scoopys

I neglected to mention that Droopy the Laughing Gull (named for the shape of his bill) was still present on the sand spit behind Buckley's Hole, Bribie Island yesterday afternoon between 4 and 5pm. Now in immaculate breeding plumage, a must-see for locals and anyone who missed it last time around.
 
A Black-necked Stork was also seen from the beginning of the Gateway Arterial road southbound, at the entrance to the Tinchi Tamba wetlands - many years since I've seen one in this location.
