Further to last email - note also contrast between greyer latericorn on this
bird (side of bill plates for pelagic bird greenhorns!) and yellow
culminicorn (top of bill) . In eremita (Chatham) the whole bill is bright
chrome yellow except of course for the black spot on the lower unguis (bill
tip). Viewing the close-up head shot, it looks far more typical of Salvin's
than the in-flight views where this contrast is not so easy to see - AS
