White-headed Pigeon

Are the White-headed Pigeons moving south? Perhaps the drought has something
to do with them occurring well out of their normal range? There was on at my
parrot-feeding table on 7th November, it looked pretty hungry and when it
found there was noting much left on the table it foraged in some pot plants,
pecking at the pellets of fertiliser. It stayed around for about ten minutes
but I haven't seen it since.  I am at Gembrook in the hills around Melbourne
far away from its normal range.
