I have found ths to be typical behaviour here in the tropics. Maybe some of
our birds are on hliday down your way?

No, but I would like to know to which reconstruction you are refering.
Lots of Fig-parrot activity in the town of Yungaburra this morning along
with Yellow-eyed Cickoo-shrikes. Looks like storms might build up and there
is one green frog which believes it is going to rain.
