Birdline Victoria Update No. 99
For the week ending: 17 November, 2002

Birdline Victoria is 2 years old!  In that time I hope that it has become a valuable tool for Bird-watchers across the state.  We have had nearly 700 hundred sightings reported, and 123 people have reported birds to Birdline, while reports have been taken from another 45 Bird-watchers.  The site receives around 250 hits per week and the email bulletin goes out to around 40 people per week.

Once again I must thank the star contributors who continue to support the service and make the effort so worthwhile.  In 2003 I hope to improve the site and use the information as the basis on which to revive the annual Victorian Bird Report.  If you haven’t been to the site yet, visit us at www.birdline.cjb.net and thanks you all for your support
