I haven't time to expand on Bob Forsyths list but I can amend it.
- Only once have I seen a Willy Wagtail drinking -- Willie Wagtails
drinking in Capertee Valley
- I have never seen Grey-crowned Babblers, Grasswrens, Hooded Robins,
Richard's Pipits or Spinifexbirds drinking. -- Hooded Robins reguklarly
drinking at moment in Capertee Valley. Have also seen Richards Pipits
drinking at a dam.
- I have never seen any Woodswallows drinking but I believe someone told
me they had seen one species drinking. -- Interesting that Bob hasn't seen
woodswallows drinking. I consider
this group to drink regularly in hot conditions. Have seen large flocks
at dams and individuals regularly drinking at bird baths in the Capertee
Valley.
Cheers
David
