5 Pectoral Sandpipers- probably adults - no buffish colour
on breast, in a group, together with one Red-necked Stint at the Werribee
Treatment Plant, on the rocky shore, just east of the mouth of Little River

18 Glossy Ibis were seen feeding north of levee bank at
Hospital Swamp, Connewarre, near Geelong, thanks Peter Bright.

A Scarlet Honeyeater was seen at 7.15 in the evening in
open Red Gum Forest at Knob Reserve, Stratford, thanks Don Ripper.

2 Chukar were seen on the Great South West Walk, along
Discovery Bay and round Cape Bridgewater, thanks Gina Hopkins.

At the northern end of Lysterfield Lake there was a male Satin
Flycatcher, and from the track 2 Powerful Owls were seen in a
Blackwood tree, thanks Giles Daubeney.

6 or so White-browed Woodswallows were seen at Werribee
Treatment Plant, along with 5 or 6 Black Kites and a pair of Black
Falcons that may have nested here, thanks Paul McDonald.

White-browed Woodswallows have returned to the
Muckleford Forest near Newstead and other interesting sightings include a
Nankeen Night Heron and Red-kneed Dotterels, thanks John

Nielborough (just N of Bendigo (one) and Cussens Park in Tatura (lots), thanks

A Baillon's Crake, 50 White-browed and Masked
Woodswallow, but no Little Bitterns were seen at the Wylie
Creek wetlands, Cranbourne Botanic Gardens, thanks Paul Peake.

Peterborough in SW Victoria among kelp with 3 Hooded Plovers on the
