Chris and All,
Whilst recording the calls of a group of Little Friarbirds near Normanton in
Qld, two began brawling at the top of a tree, and they tumbled down out of
that tree to land almost at my feet, still squabbling and with their claws
and beaks still locked in battle for some moments, before they called it
quits and flew off.
"Chirrup-rr", near Ilford, a Rufous Whistler I wonder?? Or a Yellow-faced
Honeyeater?
