Hello all,

Some of you may have received e-mails claiming to be from me which have
attachments containing a
virus.
(I have received notification that an e-mail received from me contained a
virus. I have never
communicated with or received an e-mail from the destination concerned. The
details in the body of
the e-mail received by the other party had nothing to do with me.)

These e-mails are not from me.
Someone out there has my name in their address book and a virus on their
computer.
The virus is generating random e-mails from that computer using my name and
address as the sender.

It should not be possible for my computer to generate such e-mails due to the
anti-virus and
firewall software installed as well as the fact there are no entries in my
address book.

I find it absolutely amazing and pathetic that SOME people who communicate on
this forum still have
not got the message:
"Get a good anti-virus program and practice safe browsing and e-mailing!!!!!"

Do yourself a good turn AND CONSIDER OTHERS; I am becoming extremely frustrated
at the number of
virus affected e-mails I am receiving daily.
Don't be apathetic and simply allow these misfits who create and disseminate
viruses to have a free
go.

Cheers,
A not too cheerful Bob Inglis
