Hello everyone, Is it safe? I cannot stop laughing. You are all too much. Please, give us some more. Seriously though, yesterday morning (Monday) a pair of Brown Quail were seen at Aldinga Scrub, some 30km south of Adelaide. I watched the two birds through some overhanging, lower foliage of a tree. They were just four or five metres away. After having sulked with all available stealth, I was amazed to find that they had not fled. Apparently they tend to often sit danger out before fleeing. One would feed, whilst the other watched me intensely. They were in the well grassed area to the north of the conservation park, across from the northern entrance. If anyone manages to locate them, can they please post the message for verfiication. Regards, Michael Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
