Olive-backed Orioles have been nesting in spring/summer at Wilson
Reserve, Ivanhoe (Vic) for about 15 years now - with varying degrees of
success. My husband Brian heard the first of this season there last
week, and we both heard some yesterday (Sunday).
I would describe them as regular summer migrants which turn up in
suitable habitat but not in great numbers.
I would not be at all surprised to find them in the Studley Park area.
