Hi to all those who, like me, are only interested in bird chat Travelling back from Melbourne to Mildura yesterday (Sunday). We decided to check out Lake Buloke just North of Donald in North West Victoria. The lake was totally dry, but on North Lake Road, a small back road, about 20 kms north of Donald, we came across a group of at least 40 brilliant Orange Chats, on low bushes and the fence line at the side of the road. Many (dozens - I like non-decimal measures!) Woodswallows seen at several locations North of St Arnaud - White-browed, Black-faced and Dusky.
