Hi all,

The Victorian Twitchathon is just around the corner (26 - 27 October to be
precise), however it's NOT too late to become involved!

We're particular interested in hearing from individuals (or groups of people)
who do not have a team but would like to link into an existing or conglomerate
team - an excellent way to meet like-minded birdwatchers! We have two main
categories, the 8-hour event (which looks like being very popular this year)
and the 24-hour event.

Getting involved is SIMPLE! Either contact Susan Myers
<>, Stuart Dashper <>, or
myself <>. Feel free to ring me on ph. (03) 9489 3830 to
discuss.

For further information and registration details see
http://www.websurf.net.au/~susan/t'thon.htm, and for some interesting
background information see Stuart Cooney's website at
http://home.iprimus.com.au/scooney/twitchathon.htm So... get involved and help
raise money for bird conservation!

I look forward to seeing you (and collecting my prize) at the big bash at Birds
Australia (Hawthorn) after the event.
