Observatory Manager (temporary - 8 months) wanted

Birds Australia Barren Grounds (BABG) is located within the Barren Grounds
Nature Reserve in NSW, 90 minutes drive south of Sydney on the Illawarra
Plateau.

BABG is looking for a temporary manager for the bird observatory.  The
position is open from November 2002 to June 2003.  The successful applicant
will be able to continue the development of the education and research
activities conducted by BABG.  In addition to this the person will be able
to manage the facilities, visitor needs, maintain infrastructure and have
experience in desktop publishing, the Microsoft suite of programs and MYOB
accounting software.  The person will also be able to work with a minimum
of supervision and meet the many diverse deadlines and challenges inherent
in the in the position.

Remuneration package to $35,000.00 pro rata, including superannuation,
depending on skills and experience.  Accommodation is provided on site.
