Maybe also connected with the drought, I haven't seen many Chestnut-breasted Shelduck around the area lately, but yesterday while sitting in my son's lounge room, looking out onto an irrigated cow pasture in the Boisdale V district, I counted between 150 and 200, with more dropping in constantly.
