Hello there all of you, I have just returned from Belair N.P. and located the White-throated Gerygone. The bird is in the exact spot where it has apparently been recorded over the past few weeks, about two or three hundred metres along Brady Track. It was calling quite regularly and feeding in all stratas, possibly partly due to the strength of the wind. It was feeding amongst the exotic pines, etc, and the native acacias and box eucalypts. It allowed me to get within just a few metres once it become accustomed to my presence. Also, the California Quail, they are still in Gloria Street Morphet Vale. Regards, Michael Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
