Gidday birders, whilst not attempting a 'pillow-watch' I did see a new summer migrant this morning. I have already had White-throated gerygones, Scarlet honeyeaters, Koels and Channel-billed cuckoo and yesterday my first Leaden flycatcher. But this morning I decided that summer must be on the way. Why? Because I saw my first Santa Clause of the year. A very early arrival indeed.
