Dear All,
This is a final call for confirmation of the
whale-watching trip on the 9th and 10th November.
There has been a slight change of plan. We will now
be heading out of Eden as the Merimbula boat has been booked by a large party
for the Saturday.
I have instead booked a smaller vessel out of Eden
(http://www.spiritofedencharters.com.au).
However, this means that spaces are quite limited as we only have room for 21
passengers. I can put on another vessel that takes 12 but I will only do this if
the total number of people coming exceeds 26, otherwise it is not worth the
extra effort for me to organise and will result in a significant rise in the
cost of the trip. So for the time being, I will fill 21 spaces on a first-come
first-served basis and compile a waiting list for others who can either fill the
first vessel if anyone pulls out, or go on a second, if numbers are high enough.
If I am going to book a second vessel, I will need
to know by the end of this week who wants to do what.
At present, the following people are confirmed as
likely:
Simon Mustoe
Fiona Seers
Kate Nicolson
Karen Pearson
Sarah Dolman (2 people)
Jon Hall
Louise Hansen
Gavin Johnston (party of three)
Dave Donnelly
Adrian Howard
Diane Ridley
Jason Edwards (2 people)
TOTAL = 16
I have about another 10 people as 'possible'.
I have just five spaces left or 17 if I put on an extra vessel.
Price of the trip will be dependent on the number
of people coming but should be between $50 and $80 per head per day for the
vessel(s) alone.
Cheers,
Simon.
