Last Friday took off from Moorabbin Airport (SE Melbourne) to the north over the Capital Gold Course, which I believe was created for the entertainment of high rollers at the Crown Casino. The lakes and ponds were covered in thousands of birds, but I could only identify mute swans from the plane. Do we have any high rollers on this list who have been able to check out the birds? With the proximity of Braeside and Edithvale Wetlands, there could well be something of interest. I imagine it would be difficult to gain entry without the correct credentials. -- Mary Englefield Econometrics and Business Statistics Faculty of Business and Economics Monash University, PO Box 11E, Clayton, Victoria 3800, AUSTRALIA Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
