GO BIRDING FOR CLIFFE - WORLDWIDE
SUPPORT FOR NO AIRPORT @ CLIFFE - THE PROACT WORLDWIDE BIG WATCH
The British RSPB campaign against planning for a further London airport
on the Kent marshes at Cliffe - supported from the beginning by Proact
members and supporters worldwide - continues.
In Britain, a 'Big Watch' and 'Big Count' at Cliffe and elsewhere in the
country are planned for Saturday 28 September and Sunday 6 October 2002.
It is hoped that Proact members EVERYWHERE will support this by pledging
their personal lists for this week in support of the Cliffe campaign.
Our support will receive good media coverage in Britain. Our aim must be
to focus politicians minds on the worldwide impact local or national
environmental degradation can cause. Let's aim for a really impressive
worldwide species total.

"What do I have to do?" you ask...
<...>
Go out for a planned or normal day's birding on your local patch or
favourite birding area.
Make a list of the birds you see and send the list to the No
Campaign HQ. The mail link, and further information and
assistance, can be found by going to <
http://www.proactnow.org/localcampaigns/id17.html > NOW!
Thanks in advance for your support!
