To all the people who responded to my RFI last week
(aka cry for help) - thanks!
I've been pleasantly surprised by all the positive and
friendly responses; I did something like this in the
UK a few years ago, and the responses left a little
bit to be desired.
The general concensus is that I'll have to break down
and rent a car at some point, which is exactly what I
plan to do. The other concensus is that it will be
darned hot in the North.
In addition, many people offered to show me round
their local areas, schedules permitting. Some folks
even offered me a place to stay!
Thanks again, and maybe I'll be seeing you in the
months to come!
