Hi all, Some time in the last 12-18 months I saw a Great Crested Grebe in The Maribyrnong River at Ascot Vale. It was there for about 4 days in a row. I've seen another in the artifical lakes in Williamstown, west of Jawbone Reserve, adjacent to Crofton Drive. I probably have dates at home if anyone is interested. I have also seen individuals at the Western Treatment Plant as well, in the ponds south east of Lake Borrie. regards Jim Caine --- Jim Caine Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
