Thanks for the info.  I have been to Lysterfield Lake a few times; next
time I will keep an eye open for them.  I note that there are not many
breeding records in the Victorian Atlas.  Shirley Cameron mentioned seeing
a bird at Werribee very recently and Andrew Dunn sees one sometimes at Lake
Victoria on the Bellarine Peninsula.  I have very rarely (3 times in 17
years of almost weekly surveys) seen a single bird (which never stays more
than a few days) on Albert Park Lake in Melbourne.
