Hello everyone,
There must be a multitude of watchers out there who have interesting current,
recent or historical records of vagrants or rare species for the Mount Lofty
Ranges, in South Australia. If so, I would like to hear about the records for
a report I am doing for the University of Adelaide. It does not matter how old
the records are and if used will, of-course, be cited and the person
acknowledged.
To be a little more specific, what I am after is current, recent or old records
of observations such as Flame Robins (or other petroicas), and other vulnerable
species such as the Black-chinned honeyeater, spotted quail-thrush,the brown
treecreeper and bassian thrush; birds that have disappeared from the region
altogether like the Bush stone-curlew, little lorikeet or regent honeyeater.
Basically, anything that would be considered regionally extinct, threatened
or vulnerable, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Michael
