Hi All,
I am writing with the hope that the keen observations from this huge
interactive community of birdwatchers may assist me with my research.
I have recently begun an Honours study through Monash uni on nestling
growth and development in Welcome Swallows, Fairy Martins and Rainbow
Bee-eaters and was wondering if anyone knows of possible sites of
nesting activity/colonies for any of the three species throughout
Victoria.
The Swallows may begin breeding a bit earlier this year due to our mild
winter, so early tip-offs would be particularly beneficial.
The Martins and Bee-eaters won't be settling in for a couple of months
yet, but if anyone knows of activity from last season, it would be a
great help.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Prue Simmons
