If its habitat information for New South Wales that you are looking for you
should get a copy of "A Guide to Bird Habitats in New South Wales" (1999) by
R.M. Cooper and I.A.W. McAllan. Published by the New South Wales Bird Atlassers
Inc. It gives a most comprihensive review of the various habitat types and the
birds found in that habitat.
