Hi Martin,
as you probably know Red and (to a lesser extent) Great Knot are
absolutely reliable at Phillip Island at Observation Pt. During Summer I
have never missed on Red Knot over about the last 10 years, Great Knot
are usually also there but at much lower numbers (up to 100+ Red,
usually only 2-5 Great). However, it is surprising to see them in
breeding plumage at this time of the year.
