On the weekend I came across a couple of 'Accipiter' hawks which I believed to be Collared Sparrowhawk (Accipiter cirrhocephalus) I took some digital images of the birds and noticed some differences which seem to suggest they might be Brown Goshawk (Accipiter fasciatus) though I still feel my initial ID was correct. Please take a look at http://www.aviceda.org/accipiter.htm I've put on the images and some of my concerns but would love to hear your opinions, Tom -- Tom and Marie Tarrant Lot 10 (137) Watson Rd Samsonvale Queensland 4520 Australia URL: http://www.aviceda.org/ Email: Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
