Hi All, In 1998, Terry Crockett and myself saw a Latham's Snipe at Belmont Common Wetlands Reserve (Gheringot?) in Geelong on 21 June. We assumed it had overwintered rather than a very late leaver or early arrival. We did think it an unusual record for the time of year. Are there other records of overwintering snipe?
