One 'Rule' I learnt early in my outback birding apprenticeship was to always
take my binos EVERYWHERE.
It certainly gives new meaning to 'Sitting down on the job'!
I must say, though, deciding whether to call the other members of the 'team' can
be a character building exercise especially if the bird in view is at the top of
somebody's 'hit-list'!!
