That &^$# bird is a major bugbear of mine. I've been there on several occasions (one notably on 11 September when for some reason or other I really didn't feel like birding) but have never seen the bugger. Can't you nail it to a tree something? Bill -----Original Message----- From: Behalf Of Mules, Michael Sent: Wednesday, 31 July 2002 11:08 AM To: Subject: Red-whiskered Bulbul in Ivanhoe Hi all, For those who may be interested, I saw a Red-whiskered Bulbul at Wilson Reserve in Ivanhoe yesterday, near the Chelsworth playing fields. Other birds of interest were 4 Nankeen Night-herons, Tawny Frogmouth, Azure Kingfisher and Spotless Crake. Cheers, Mike Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
