Thanks to those who responded.
There were no commas, full stops or decimal points in the numbers. The 10X
could be correct from the quick test I gave them but the 10 X 70 does not
seem to fit. They looked about 10 X 50 or 60 but I didn't measure them and
they could have been 70 mm. The field of view seemed to be very similar to
my wide angled 7 X 50.
They were very light, and seemed to be plastic (or at least plastic coated).
There was a pattern covering the body. It could have been a stylish stag.
The front lens caps fitted inside the barrels and were permanently attached
to the body.
I have never seen anything like them before and this is why I looked at
them. A number of people have asked how much they were. The answer is $75
which seems too much for a VERY well used pair of binos of unknown origin
and unknown specs. Or am I being mean?
