On the 9/7/02 I saw the powerful owl reported previously at Banyule river flat wetlands.  The bird was at presumably the same perch, with whitewash and pellets underneath, sitting on what appeared to be a ringtail possum.  It was in a wattle tree on the banks of the Yarra, in an area where there was a large number of black? wattles.  A couple of days later a family member went there but the bird was not there, however from whitewash and pellets containing fur and bones this clearly is a regular roost
