Hi All
I'm going to SE Papua New Guinea to help some indigenous people with a
birdwatching/ecotourism enterprise. Does anyone know whether tapes or
CDs of relevant bird calls are available, and if so how I can get hold of
them? I'd like to familiarise myself with at least some calls. Also is
there any information on flora?

Also a note on Bob Forsyth's bird - I back Robert Read's statement. Less
than a dozen birds were released a decade ago in Alice Springs and within
a few years there were thousands. Once such birds became established
some people like having them around and resist attempts to get rid of
them.
Regards
Denise
