Hi everyone,Sydneysiders. Pitt Town Lagoon is looking real good, on the 22-5-02 we had 21 Freckled, Duck 400+ Pinkears as well as good numbers of the more common species, on the 15-5-02 there was a Aus Shellduck at Fernleighs Lagoon and Whistle Ducks at Pughs. There was also one Freckled Duck at McGraths Hill. Beware Dog Lovers On 26-5-02 in my suburb of Wilberforce a Wedge -tailed Eagle picked up a small dog from under the owners nose, dropping it from a great height breaking the dogs neck. keith Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
